Staff Profiles

jarrodJarrod Hewitt
Dealer Principal

Jarrod is our Dealer Principal who has qualifications in two disciplines. He is a Qualified Shipwright Class II and a Qualified Small Motors Mechanic.

His qualification as a Small Motor Mechanic was achieved after having served four years as an apprentice with the Company. On 01 January 2001 and subsequent to a further four years experience at Bevs Saws & Mowers (in total 8 years), Jarrod has now taken over as Dealer Principal.

The task of continuing the development of this business rests squarely on his shoulders, however, he is no stranger to challenges, having represented Western Australia in the Teal Cup Football side of 1988 and subsequently playing at WAFL and Amateur Levels.

Jarrod believes that whether in football or business, it is all about teamwork. He is proud to be a part of the team at Bevs Saws & Mowers.

stephenStephen Oldham
Manager

Stephen joined the Company some 15 years ago as a raw recruit and with the efflux of time has developed into a most valuable member of the team.

His knowledge and experience in the industry is widely recognised and his recent appointment as Manager is richly deserved.

The development of this Company is due in no small way to his commitment to combine his knowledge and experience and apply it to the service of our clientele.

danielDaniel Beebe
Service Manager

Daniel joined the team at Bevs Saws & Mowers as a work experience student in 1995. We were very impressed with his attitude and ability and accordingly in 1996 we offered him an apprenticeship, which he enthusiastically accepted.

Having qualified as a Small Motors Mechanic in 1999, Daniel continued to pursue further learning and has now achieved the status of Master Service Technician awarded to him by the international company Briggs & Stratton. There are very few Small Motor Mechanics that have achieved that status.

Daniel is further qualified. He has a Western Power Electrical Licence that qualifies him to work on electrical equipment such as motor driven generators. Electric chainsaws, electric high-pressure cleaning systems and the like.

His appointment as Service Manager recognises his commitment to service and teamwork.

Another proud member of the team at Bevs Saws & Mowers.

dawnDawn Fewster
Accounts Manager

Dawn joined the Company after having spent many years in administration in small business.

Her appointment as Accounts Manager is evidence of the importance that this Company places on having expertise in all areas of the business so as to provide quality service to our clientele.

Dawn is a popular member of the team, especially on paydays and is affectionately called "Mum" by the younger members of our fraternity.

New Kids on the Block

Shaun Martin
Apprenticed Mechanic
Mitchell Hawse
Apprenticed Mechanic

No business would be complete without a plan for the future. Our steady growth has provided us with an opportunity to train personnel and in the process provide employment opportunity for members of our community.

Shaun and Mitchell are Apprenticed Small Motor Mechanics, undertaking weekly external studies at SouthEast Metropolitan College of Technical and Further Education in addition to their in-situ experience at Bevs Saws & Mowers.

In any team, you have to have one. It is Shaun. He is boisterous, outspoken and at times unpredictable. On the other hand, Mitchell is quiet, reserved and at all times predictable. Together, they add something special to the team and they have already learned the principals upon which this business has been built, teamwork and service.
